John Wendland is a partner at W&D Law and has extensive experience representing design professionals (architects, engineers, and consultants), construction companies (developers, general contractors and subcontractors), financial institutions (creditors and debtors), and real estate and real estate related firms (brokers, agents, and title companies). John focuses his practice on complex civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, professional negligence, professional board (architecture, engineering, and contractor) complaints, personal injury, real estate disputes, foreclosures/short sale/loan modification negotiations, intellectual property disputes, and all business related civil litigation.
John represents both plaintiff and defendant parties in actions throughout Nevada, Arizona, and other jurisdictions in the Pacific, such as Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
John’s litigation experience includes multi-million dollar claims including contract/fee disputes, and alleged defects in resort/casino buildings, residential properties (custom and tract), schools, office buildings/parks, governmental structures, highways, gas-stations, and even silos.
Given John’s prior training in business management (domestic and international) and understanding of his clients’ “bottom line,” he brings an aggressive approach in prosecuting or defending claims with the goal of quick resolution, thereby minimizing the fees and costs incurred by his clients.
